Janette Mason
Janette is a jazz pianist, composer, arranger and producer with a diverse musical career. She has toured extensively with artists such as Oasis, Pulp and Robert Wyatt and has been musical director for various TV shows including the Jonathan Ross Show. She is a sought-after arranger and producer and has contributed tracks to many recordings including the soundtrack CD to Cars 3 and Lea DeLaria’s, The Live Smoke Sessions, which reached the Grammy Ballot. She is a recording artist in her own right with 5 CDs released to date.
James Alexander Thompson
James, a classically trained pianist from an early age went on to study jazz at the Sage Gateshead before attaining a BA Hons in Pop Music from Leeds College of Music and winning the Friends Prize Award for his penultimate piano recital. He has been involved in many aspects of the music business since then from live performing, session work for TV ads to composing and educating. Having spent time abroad teaching in Hong Kong and Thailand, James is now UK based focusing his creativity on writing with various composers across the pop and classical genres.
